Ingredients

  • 5 g seaweed, dried (e.. wakame or water spahetti)
  • 1 cucumber (s)
  • sesame oil
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), juice it
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 piece (s) ginger, for the marinade, optional

For decoration:

  • some sesame seeds, optional
  • some lemon wedges, red peppers, carrots, etc.

Instructions

  1. The recipe fits different types of seaweed. Wakame, sea spaghetti or a mix of different types or similar is possible. 5 g of dried seaweed is a guideline that can be adjusted to suit your taste.
  2. Water or boil the algae according to the instructions on the packet, squeeze out and cut into small pieces if necessary. Peel the cucumber and remove the seeds if necessary. Cut into slices or thin strips.
  3. For the marinade, mix the sesame oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper and ginger to taste. Mix the cucumber and seaweed with it and let it steep. Other vegetables can be added as desired.
  4. Optionally, you can decorate the salad with lemon wedges, various types of vegetables, e.g. red peppers, carrots or sesame seeds.
