Ingredients

  • 100 g butter, room temperature
  • 140 g suar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 180 g flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 125 ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa, sweetened
  • 12 teaspoon Nutella
  • 230 g butter, room temperature
  • 250 g powdered suar
  • 3 tablespoon Nutella
  • 30 ml cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter with the granulated sugar until frothy. Then add the 2 eggs and stir for about 2 - 3 minutes. Fold the baking powder into the flour and then mix with the butter-sugar-egg mixture. Finally mix in milk, vanilla extract and cocoa powder.
  2. Now the dough is portioned. If you use a complete metal baking pan, it is best to provide each form with a separate paper case so that nothing sticks and the cupcakes are easier to remove later.
  3. First, just pour a dollop of batter into the molds so that the bottom is covered. Pour the Nutella on top, about 1 teaspoon per cupcake, and then fill up with batter until the pan is about 3/4 full.
  4. Now put the cupcakes in the oven at 160 ° C for 20 minutes.
  5. For the frosting, beat the butter with the powdered sugar until frothy, then add the Nutella. You can vary the amount according to your taste. Finally add the cream or milk.
  6. Make sure to let the cupcakes cool completely after baking so that the frosting doesn`t run off from the heat.
  7. Pour the frosting into a piping bag and apply to the cupcakes. Finally, add decorations (chocolate chips, fruits, etc.).
