Ingredients

  • 8 sausages (Nuremberg)
  • 2 small onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 250 g ketchup, mild
  • 3 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

Instructions

  1. Grill the Nuremberg sausages.
  2. Chop the onions, fry them in olive oil until translucent, add tomato paste and roast briefly, deglaze with a little water. Add the ketchup, balsamic vinegar and honey and let everything simmer briefly. Season the sauce with soy sauce, curry and chilli and dilute with a little water if necessary.
  3. Cut the sausages into slices, pour the sauce over them and sprinkle with more curry.
