Dessert Apples in the Snow

by Editorial Staff

Delicious dessert. Here – ice cream, jelly, fresh grapes and apples. Fruit in jelly and in an unusual form …)

Ingredients

  • Hard apples – 0.5 kg
  • Sugar – 0.5 cups (100 g) or to taste
  • Jelly (lemon or pineapple) – 1 sachet (90 g)
  • Ice cream – 0.5 kg
  • Gelatin – 1 teaspoon (5 g)
  • White chocolate – 0.5 bars (50 g)
  • Fresh grapes (optional)

Directions

  1. Cut the apples into slices, heat them in the microwave for 4-5 minutes until they become soft. (Or bake the apples in an oven preheated to 180-200 degrees until soft; or boil the apple pieces with a little water, stirring, over low heat for 20-25 minutes.) Puree apples in a blender or processor and rub through a metal sieve. We end up with a pretty thick applesauce.
  2. Pour in sugar (its amount depends on the acidity of apples and your taste) and gelatin. Mix well and let cool. I put the cooled applesauce in ice molds and put it in the refrigerator.
  3. We prepare the jelly according to the instructions on the package, but I add a little less water. Pour half of the jelly into cups or glasses and put in the refrigerator to freeze.
  4. When the jelly hardens, take the applesauce from the refrigerator (it will also harden by this time) and put it on a figurine on the jelly. Fill in the remaining jelly. I also added one chopped grape each. Put it in the refrigerator again. Well, that’s all.
  5. We collect dessert quickly. Put the jelly with applesauce on a saucer. To do this, hold the glass in warm water for a couple of seconds. With a teaspoon around the jelly we make a snowdrift from ice cream.
  6. Rub white chocolate on top, no matter how hard it is.)

Bon Appetit!
