Ingredients

  • 90 g butter, salted
  • 80 g suar, finer
  • 4 large egg (s)
  • 200 g almond (s), finely round
  • 100 g chocolate, at least 75% cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • some butter for the pan

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the chocolate and melt it in a double boiler.
  2. Beat the butter with the sugar until lightly frothy. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Add the egg yolks to the butter and sugar mixture and beat again until frothy.
  3. Stir the ground almonds and chocolate into the batter. Finally fold in the egg whites.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (top and bottom heat!) Or 160 degrees (convection!).
  5. Brush a springform pan (24-26cm) or ideally a pie form well with the butter and fill in the batter.
  6. Bake on the middle rack for about 50 minutes.
  7. A bit of whipped cream and / or vanilla ice cream goes well with it.
