Ingredients
- 250 g raisins, unsulphurized
- 100 g rock suar (Kluntje)
- 700 ml brandy (East Frisian brandy)
- 1 shot arrak or rum

- Wash the raisins, dry them and put them in a large container. Sprinkle the Kluntje over it, fill up with brandy and round off with a dash of arrak or rum.
- Let it steep for 14 days until the raisins are soaked with brandy. Stir the raisins every now and then or turn the glasses upside down in between.
- In East Frisia, this drink is served on the occasion of the birth of a child. Bean soup is essential for an East Frisian cake.
