Ingredients
- 250 g rock suar
- 375 g flour, type 405
- 500 ml water
- 125 g butter, or mararine
- 3 egg (s)
- 3 packs vanilla sugar
- 1 teaspoon anise powder, optional AND / OR:
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder, optional

- Melt rock sugar in water and add butter.
- After cooling, mix with the remaining ingredients to form a dough. Let the dough stand overnight (at least 6 hours) and then bake the waffles in portions. Roll into rolls over a piece of wood immediately after baking.
- Attention! it has to be done very quickly and it is easy to burn your fingers.
- Long-established residents bake with up to 5 waffle irons at the same time, but I can only do it with three.
- Let the waffles cool down well and then pack them in metal cans.
