Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 0.25 liter ¼ red wine, medium dry, possibly more
  • possibly water
  • 120 g mushrooms
  • 1 pickle (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper the minced meat. Use a teaspoon or other suitable tool to form small balls out of the minced meat. Cut the mushrooms into slices, the onion and the pickled cucumber into small cubes.
  2. Fry the meatballs in a larger pan. Then add onions and mushrooms and continue to fry. Deglaze with red wine every now and then. When everything is well seared, add 1/4 l red wine. Now add the cucumber cubes and the tomato paste and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add more red wine and / or water, depending on your taste. Boiled potatoes go best with this.
