Ingredients

  • 500 ml water, warm
  • 0.5 ½ cube fresh yeast or 1 pack dry yeast
  • 500 g wholemeal flour your choice (wheat, spelled, rye or mixed)
  • 150 g seeds your choice (e.. flax seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds or mixed)
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Pour warm water into a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix everything with a spatula or electric mixer with dough hook. If using fresh yeast, dissolve it in the water FIRST and then add the other ingredients. Cover and let rest for half an hour and then bake in a loaf pan for about 1 hour at 180 degrees. Depending on your taste, you can sprinkle the dough with seeds or oat flakes. These should then be pressed down a little with the dough scraper.
