Want to impress your guests and loved ones? Make a steak flambé.
Cook: 10 mins
Ingredients
Veal – 500 g
Hard cheese – 50 g
Vegetable oil – 50 ml
Wine “Marsala” – 50 ml
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Directions
Prepare everything you need for your steak. The meat must necessarily be unfrozen!
The pieces of meat should be about 3 cm thick, as much as possible. Beat the meat lightly.
Grate hard cheese on a fine grater.
Sprinkle the meat in the cheese.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet.
Fry the steak on it quickly until golden brown. Approximately 3 minutes.
Turn the piece of meat over. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
Pour wine over the meat. It’s time to set fire. Carry out the flambing process directly on the table by setting up a frying pan. Do not hesitate with this, because the alcohol will evaporate.
The main thing is to prepare in advance. Use a splinter or a long fireplace match to avoid getting burned.
Light the meat with a lid that fits snugly against the pan to extinguish too much fire. Remember: the wine should be warm and the meat should be hot.
When all the alcohol is burned out, transfer the meat to a plate and pour over the sauce from the pan.
