Ingredients

  • 3 cans beans (fine young green beans, drained weight approx. 1.4 kg)
  • 1 can kidney beans (drained weight approx. 250 g)
  • 250 g ham, diced (Kat ham)
  • 2 onions)
  • 3 clove (s) garlic
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon pepper, colored grains
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled oregano
  • 1 teaspoon, grained marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled rosemary
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Open the cans and pour the contents into a large colander, set aside and drain.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan or wok and lightly fry the ham in it. Add the finely chopped garlic and chopped onions and fry over a moderate heat until translucent. Now mix in all the herbs and spices and roast for 1 to 2 minutes. Fold in the beans, toss until they are hot for about 2 minutes, then remove from the hob, cover and let stand for 10 minutes, then mix again and season to taste.
