Fruit Salad with Quince, Pear and Orange

Quince, pear, and orange can be used to make a delicious and vitamin-rich fruit salad. And if the sweet salad is also beautifully decorated, then it will become the highlight of the festive table.

Ingredients

  • Medium quince – 1 pc.
  • Small pear – 1 pc.
  • Orange – 1 pc.
  • Butter – 0.5 tablespoon.
  • Sugar – 2 tablespoons
  • Peeled walnuts – a handful
  • Ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Peel the quince fruit with a knife.
  2. Cut the quince into pieces, remove the core with the seeds, and chop the pulp into small pieces.
  3. Peel the pear too and cut it into pieces.
  4. Cut off the top of the orange. The edge of the cut can be cut in the form of teeth.
  5. Using a small spoon, carefully scoop out the flesh from the rind. It is important not to tear the peel, as it will serve as a bowl for the salad.
  6. Cut the orange pulp into pieces.
  7. Melt the butter in a frying pan and add granulated sugar.
  8. Stir the sugar until it melts. Then squeeze 2 tablespoons out of the orange pulp. juice and pour it into the melted sugar in a frying pan, add the quince pieces and, stirring, fry for two minutes.
  9. Mix caramelized quince pieces with pear and orange.
  10. Transfer the salad to the orange peel. The whole salad will not fit in it, so the rest can be put in a bowl or in a prepared peel from another orange. Sprinkle the salad with cinnamon and chopped walnuts on top.
  11. Serve immediately.
