Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons mustard, hotter
  • 4 tablespoon vinegar, (wine vinegar)
  • 1 clove (s) garlic, pressed
  • 2 teaspoons anchovy paste
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • 2 teaspoons tomato ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon capers, very small

Instructions

  1. Mix the mayonnaise with 4 tablespoons of boiling water until smooth. Mix in the mustard, vinegar, garlic, anchovy paste and cayenne pepper with a whisk. Stir the oil and ketchup into the sauce and finally add the capers.
  2. This sauce goes well with grilled fish, meat, ham and meat fondue.
