- 400 g apple, e.. Boskop
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 150 g butter, soft
- 110 g suar, soft
- 3 egg (s)
- 250 g flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 piece (s) ginger, approx. 5 cm in size
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 6 tablespoon heavy cream
- 50 g powdered suar
- 1 teaspoon, heaped cinnamon
- 4 teaspoons apple juice

- Peel and core the apples, cut into small pieces and mix with lemon juice. Grease a loaf pan or a muffin tin. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C fan oven.
- Mix the butter with the sugar until frothy. Stir in the eggs one at a time. Peel the ginger and cut into small pieces and stir into the mixture. Add the cream. Mix the flour with the baking powder, a pinch of salt and the cinnamon. Sift the flour over the mixture and stir in, fold in the apples. Fill into the intended form and bake in the oven on the middle rack for about 25 minutes. Make a chopstick test.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack. Mix the powdered sugar with the cinnamon and stir in the apple juice. Spread over the cake or muffins and allow to dry until you eat them.
