Ingredients

  • 1 package gnocchi from the refrigerated shelf or homemade
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), red
  • 1 packet tomato (s), happened
  • 1 tablespoon jam (red currant jelly) can be omitted
  • 75 g cranberries, dried
  • 40 g walnuts
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • possibly parmesan

Instructions

  1. Cut the onion, garlic and chilli into small pieces and sauté in a little olive oil. Add tomatoes, cranberries and jelly, simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt.
  2. Meanwhile, heat 1 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan and fry the gnocchi until crispy. Just before the desired degree of browning add the rosemary and the chopped walnuts and fry until done.
  3. Serve the gnocchi with the sauce and grate some fresh Parmesan cheese on top. With a piece of fresh white bread to dip.
