Instructions

  1. Peel the apple, remove the core and cut the apple into small pieces or thin slices.
  2. Mix the egg yolks with salt, sugar, flour, baking powder, milk and mineral water with a hand blender (be careful, something splashes). Beat the egg white until stiff and fold in. Finally, carefully fold in the apple pieces.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan and bake the pancakes until they are a nice color on both sides.
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and serve immediately if possible.
  5. My grandma always served these pancakes with lentil soup or vegetable stew.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
