Ingredients

  • 185 g butter
  • 165 grams sugar
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 75 g flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 190 g hazelnuts, round
  • 200 g apples, peeled and rouhly rated

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, stir butter, sugar and eggs until foamy, then fold in the ground nuts, cocoa, flour with baking powder and grated apples. Put the whole thing in a box cake tin in the oven preheated to 170 degrees. The baking time is approx. 60 minutes (make a baking test with a wooden stick).
  2. After baking, leave the cake in the mold for another 5-10 minutes, then remove it from the mold and leave to cool on a wire rack.
  3. This apple cake is wonderfully juicy and tastes great, especially with a whipped cream!
