Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat, half and half
  • 750 g tomato (s) pieces, fresh or tetrapack
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 3 clove (s) garlic
  • 2 rolls, stale
  • 3 medium onion (s)
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon herbs, Italian, dried
  • 400 g cream
  • 3 scoops mozzarella
  • 2 tablespoon margarine

Instructions

  1. Soak the rolls in water. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Put the minced meat in a large bowl and squeeze out the rolls. Chop 2 onions and add as well as mustard, eggs, salt, pepper and 1 clove of garlic. Mix everything vigorously.
  2. Grease a baking dish with 1 tablespoon of margarine. Shape the minced meat into balls the size of a golf ball and place in them.
  3. Wash, clean and cut the bell pepper into small strips, chop the onion and garlic and fry in a pan. Add paprika and brown a little for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in the tomato pieces, salt, pepper, the Italian herbs and the cream, in which 2 teaspoons of cornstarch are dissolved, mix well and season to taste. Give everything about the meatballs. Place the sliced mozzarella on top.
  5. Bake on the middle rack for 30-40 minutes. Noodles, rice or baguette and cucumber salad go well with this.
