Ingredients

  • 170 g butter
  • 70 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 180 g flour
  • 50 g chocolate flakes
  • 100 g hazelnuts, chopped
  • 180 g dark chocolate
  • 4 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Mix 140 g butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until frothy. Stir in the egg yolk, knead in the flour and grated chocolate. Now wrap the dough in foil and refrigerate for an hour.
  2. Shape the dough into small balls and roll in the chopped nuts. Place on baking sheets with a gap of approx. 3 cm. Depressions are now pressed into the center of the ball with a floured wooden spoon handle.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees on the 2nd rack from the bottom for 18 minutes (convection 160 degrees and approx. 15 minutes).
  4. Chop the chocolate and melt it with the cream, honey and 30 g butter over a hot water bath. Let it cool down until the mixture is ready to use. Using a piping bag with a small perforated nozzle, inject the chocolate into the indentations and let it set.
  5. You can also use finished chocolate icing in a bag.
