- 500 ml water
- 6 teaspoons coffee powder, finely ground
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 0.25 teaspoon ¼ nutmeg
- 0.25 teaspoon ¼ cardamom
- 1 pinch saffron powder

- Bring the milk and water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the coffee powder and bring to the boil again. Add sugar and spices and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Pour through a fine sieve and serve hot.
