Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 180 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 tablespoon orange liqueur or orange juice
  • 1 orange (s), untreated, grated zest it
  • 25 g butter
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 200 g almond (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

  1. Knead the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, vanilla sugar, liqueur, orange peel, butter and eggs with the dough hook until smooth. Knead the almonds whole. Cover and chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Form the dough into approx. 4 rolls on a little flour and place them on the tray with a gap. Bake in a preheated oven (fan oven: 175 ° C) for 10 - 15 minutes. Let cool down.
  3. Cut the rolls into approx. 1 cm thick oblique slices. Place the cut surface on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the hot oven at the same temperature for another 8-10 minutes. Let cool down.
