Ingredients

  • 150 ml water
  • 6 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon peel, grated
  • 130 ml lemon juice
  • 1 lemon (s), untreated, sliced
  • Mineral water
  • Ice, some cubes
  • 4 kiwi (s)
  • 2 scoops ice cream, (strawberry ice cream or lemon sorbet)

Instructions

  1. Bring the water with the sugar and the grated lemon zest to the boil, simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from the heat and let cool down. Pour in the lemon juice and cover with the lemon syrup in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
  2. Then pour into a pot, add ice cubes and lemon wedges and make a lemonade with the mineral water in a ratio of 1 part syrup: 3 parts water.
  3. Peel the kiwifruit, cut into slices and puree with 200 ml of the lemonade until smooth, divide the mixture between 2 flat glasses and place a scoop of strawberry ice cream or lemon sorbet in the middle.
  4. Very refreshing and rich in vitamins. Tastes especially good on hot summer days.
