Lentil Sweets

Do-it-yourself lentil PP-candy. Sweets according to this recipe can be safely called healthy, and they are also tasty and nutritious. No harmful ingredients, just lentils, nuts, and dates.

Ingredients

  • Green lentils – 150 g
  • Walnuts – 40 g
  • Sunflower seeds (peeled) – 20 g
  • Almonds – 20 g
  • Dates (with stone) – 200 g
  • Cocoa powder – 30 g

Directions

  1. Prepare products for making lentils, dates, and nuts.
  2. Soak the dates in water for 1 hour.
  3. Cook the lentils until tender; it will take about 40 minutes.
    Then we salt the liquid and completely cool the finished lentils.
  4. Fry nuts and seeds in a dry frying pan, stirring constantly, until golden brown.
  5. Put the nut mixture into a blender. Let’s start the device.
  6. After 30 seconds, you will get such a crumb.
    Put the chopped nut mixture into a bowl.
  7. Free the dates from the seeds, and load the pulp into the blender bowl. Turn on the blender for 30 seconds.
  8. Then add chilled lentils to the chopped dates. Let’s restart the device for 30 seconds.
  9. Put the resulting mass of dates and lentils in a bowl to the nut mixture. Mix until smooth. We have obtained a mass from which it is convenient to form balls and which does not stick to fingers at all.
  10. We roll the blanks into balls of approximately the same size.
  11. We carefully roll each piece in cocoa.
  12. We send the finished lentil sweets to the refrigerator for 2 hours. Then you can brew tea and start enjoying the treat.
