Ingredients
- 200 ml water
- 250 ml lemonade
- 400 g suar
- 200 ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed, (approx. 6 lemons)
- 700 ml vodka, (38 to 40%)
- 1 kg pear (s)

- Put water in a saucepan, then the sugar. Stir repeatedly over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- In the meantime, peel, quarter and core the pears. Now puree the pear pieces in a blender (or e.g. Thermomix).
- Now add the lemonade to the pot, pay attention to the necessary heat (turn up if necessary). Always stir well. Add the pear puree, making sure that the mixture is hot but not boiling. Let it steep for about 5 minutes and then add the vodka. Always stir well! Wait until it comes to a boil.
- Wash suitable bottles with hot water and fill them as full as possible (I always use 0.5l bottles). Close the bottles and let them cool down. Put in the refrigerator for longer storage times (but also had a bottle for almost 2 months at room temperature and was still good).
- Also works with other types of fruit. I had already processed plums in this way. Should be enough for about 2.0l pear limes.
