Ingredients

  • 1 leg lamb, approx. 2 kg
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 5 tablespoon sherry
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 5 clove (s) garlic, pressed
  • 1 lime (s), juice and grated zest
  • 1 tablespoon mustard, hotter
  • 2 tablespoon herbs, fresh, mixed, e.g. rosemary, sage, thyme

Instructions

  1. Melt the honey with the sherry, the lime juice, the grated peel of the lime and the mustard. Add the pressed garlic and chopped herbs.
  2. Brush the leg of lamb with the mixture, wrap tightly in aluminum foil and place in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. The next day, preheat the oven to 220 degrees and cook the wrapped leg for about 2 1/2 hours.
  4. When unpacking, make sure that the delicious brew is not lost.
  5. Rosemary potatoes and salad, for example, go well with this.
