Ingredients

  • 500 g layer cheese or quark, 20%
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 lemon (s), (untreated)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon, ground
  • 100 ml milk
  • 5 egg (s)
  • Oil (sunflower oil), for the shape
  • Powdered sugar, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. You need a clay mold (Greixonera) with a diameter of approx. 26 cm.
  2. Line a hair sieve with a cloth, add the cheese and squeeze out well. Strain the cheese through the sieve into a bowl. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C (convection not recommended).
  3. Put the sugar in a second bowl. Wash the lemon, dry it, grate the peel finely and add to the sugar, also cinnamon and the milk, stir everything thoroughly.
  4. Add the layered cheese and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Whisk the eggs and stir into the mixture.
  5. Brush the clay mold lightly with oil and pour in the cheese mixture. Bake the cheesecake in the middle of the oven for 60 to 90 minutes (make a needle test!) And let it cool in the pan.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve in the tin.
