Ingredients
- 750 g minced beef
- 3 tablespoon milk
- 1 egg (s), whisked
- 0.5 slice ½ (s) white bread, without rind
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 6 slices beefsteak tomato (s)
- 1 scoop mozzarella, cut into 6 slices
- 6 anchovy fillet (s) (can)
- 1 tablespoon oregano, freshly chopped
- Salt and pepper, black

- Preheat the oven to 200 °. In a small saucepan, slowly heat the milk with the bread until the bread has absorbed the milk. Mix with a fork to a pulp and leave to cool.
- Put the beef with the bread mixture and the egg in a bowl and season with salt and pepper, mix thoroughly.
- Shape the mixture into 6 flat meatballs.
- Place the breadcrumbs on a flat plate and turn the meatballs on both sides. Heat 5mm vegetable oil in a large pan and brown the meatballs for 2 minutes on both sides.
- Then place the meatballs side by side in a greased, fireproof dish. Place a slice of tomato on each meatball, sprinkle with the oregano and season with salt and pepper. Put 1 slice of mozzarella on each.
- Halve the 6 anchovy fillets again from above and place 2 halves crosswise on each mozzarella.
- Put the whole thing in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the mozzarella has melted.
- Enjoy with a fresh salad, ciabatta and a local wine.
