Ingredients

  • 200 g herbal cream cheese
  • 100 g tomato (s), dried, in oil
  • 2 tablespoon parmesan, freshly grated
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 large basil leaves
  • 1 handful walnuts, approx. 30 g
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Chop the sun-dried tomatoes, press the garlic and add to the cream cheese. Also vigorously mix in the parmesan and chopped basil. Season everything with salt and pepper.
  2. If you like or want to try something new, you can chop the walnuts, roast them in a pan without fat, let them cool and stir them into the cream cheese.
  3. The spread tastes good on ciabatta, baguette or bread.
  4. I served it with tomato and mozzarella, tuna and bean salad and fried zucchini as part of a small Mediterranean buffet for dinner.
