Ingredients

  • 250 g millet
  • 600 ml vegetable stock
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 peppers, colored
  • 1 cucumber (s)
  • 7 tomato (s)
  • Seasoned Salt
  • pepper
  • thyme
  • 100 g cheese, rated
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • possibly feta cheese
  • possibly olives, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Wash the millet with hot water and add it to the boiling vegetable stock, bring to the boil and let it soak for about 40 minutes at a low temperature.
  2. Cut the vegetables into fine pieces, steam them in the melted butter and season with herb salt, pepper and thyme. Mix the vegetables, millet and cheese, season to taste and sprinkle with parsley.
  3. Variation:
  4. It gets even more spicy if you take finely diced feta cheese instead of the grated cheese and add finely chopped green olives.
