“Mushrooms” from Potatoes

Oven-baked potatoes in the form of mushrooms, with sour cream, cheese, and spices.

Ingredients

  • Medium-sized, elongated potatoes – about 12
  • Sour cream – 2-3 tbsp (to taste)
  • Grated cheese – 2-4 tbsp
  • Water – about 1 glass
  • Vegetable oil – 2-3 tbsp
  • Spices (Italian herbs) – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly with a brush, without peeling. Cut the potato in half.
  2. Press the cylindrical mold (any object that is suitable in shape and size, for example, a cap, etc.) to push inward along the center of the potato cut. Take out.
  3. Stepping back slightly from the edge of the potatoes, carefully cut the potatoes in a circle with a knife, up to the middle, cut with a mold.
  4. As a result, half of the potato will be divided into two parts – a ringlet and a mushroom.
  5. Salt potato mushrooms, season with herbs.
  6. Add sour cream and stir.
  7. Put in the form. Pour in some water. Add some vegetable oil.
  8. Close with foil. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
  9. After that, sprinkle the potatoes with grated cheese. Bake for about 5 minutes more.
