Stewed Potatoes with Mushrooms

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 500 gr.;
  • Onions – 200 gr.;
  • Carrots – 200 gr.;
  • Garlic – 2 teeth;
  • Vegetable oil – 6 tablespoons;
  • Boiled or fried mushrooms – 500 gr.;
  • Cheese – 100 gr.;
  • Mayonnaise – 5 tablespoons;
  • Milk – 100 ml;
  • Salt, ground black pepper – to taste.

Directions

  1. Peel and chop the potatoes at random.
  2. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
  3. Dice the onion. Chop the garlic.
  4. In a frying pan with the addition of oil, fry the carrots, onions, and garlic.
  5. Grate cheese on a coarse grater.
  6. Put boiled or fried mushrooms, raw potatoes, fried onions with carrots in a bowl and mix well, season with salt and pepper.
  7. Separately in a bowl, mix mayonnaise and milk, add grated cheese, stir.
  8. Put the potato-mushroom mass into a baking dish and pour the cheese-mayonnaise mixture (sauce).
  9. Bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees or simmer for 40-50 minutes over medium heat.
