Mushrooms in Tomato Sauce

Mushroom stew will help out in the post. Any fresh mushrooms will do. With a side dish, we have such mushrooms “with a bang”.

Ingredients

  • Fresh mushrooms – 500 g
  • Tomato juice – 200 g
  • Bulb onions – 1-2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 30 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Spices to taste

Directions

  1. Peel, wash and cut onions into cubes or thin half rings.
  2. Wash and clean the mushrooms. Cut the mushrooms into slices or cubes.
  3. Preheat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil. Put prepared onion into hot oil. Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 2-4 minutes, until the onion is golden.
  4. Place the mushrooms in the pan. Simmer everything together, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, add your favorite spices. Mix.
  5. Pour tomato juice over the mushrooms. Simmer mushrooms in tomato sauce over low heat for 5 minutes.
  6. Mushrooms in tomato sauce are ready. Serve with your favorite side dish.
