Ingredients

  • 250 ml vinegar, apple cider vinegar
  • 250 ml wine, white wine
  • 250 grams sugar
  • Fruits, dried fruits, e.g. apricots, plums, raisins
  • cinnamon
  • Carnation
  • ginger
  • 3 tablespoon mustard powder

Instructions

  1. Bring the vinegar, white wine and sugar to the boil. Add dried fruits, cinnamon, clove and a little ginger and simmer for 15 minutes. Drain, collect the stock. Put the fruit in a sealable jar. Let the stock cool down, add the mustard powder and cover the fruit with it.
  2. Let steep in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks.
  3. With game or pies.
