Ingredients

  • 750 g beans, fresh, reen, strinless
  • 1 liter water, salted, for boiling
  • 500 ml milk
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 80 g bacon, mixed, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut off the ends of the beans, cut the beans into 5 cm long pieces and cook in salted water for about 20 minutes. Drain the beans.
  2. Bring the milk to the boil while mixing the butter with flour to form a dumpling. Stir the dumpling into the boiling milk and turn off the stove. Fold in the diced bacon and the beans, season with salt, pepper and sugar and let steep for another 5 minutes.
  3. New boiled potatoes go very well with this.
