Ingredients

  • 500 g runner beans
  • 250 g potato (s)
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 3 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the runner beans into small pieces and the potatoes into cubes. Cook the beans in salted water for about 15 minutes and the potatoes for 15-25 minutes.
  2. Then pour both off. When you drain the runner beans, collect the water for the sauce later.
  3. Chop the onion and fry in butter until golden brown. Then stir in the flour, add some of the boiled bean water and make a roux. Season to taste with salt, pepper and vinegar. Put the bean vegetables with the potatoes in the sauce and bring to the boil briefly.
