  • 1 kg potato (s), floury boiling
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 100 g flour, (405)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • Apples or plums, prepared, cut into small pieces
  • 100 g butter, melted
  • 100 g cinnamon and suar

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cook them until cooked. Then press through the potato press and let cool down. Then mix with a pinch of salt, the egg and the flour. If necessary, add a little more flour, the dough should not stick. Shape the dough into balls and press them in at one point. Pieces of apple or plum are filled into the hollow that is created in this way. Close the dumplings well and place in boiling salted water. Let it steep (the water should just simmer) until the dumplings float on top. When it came to the filling, I unfortunately failed to weigh how much I needed. You can still finish a few apples or plums quickly if you notice that you don`t have enough filling. Distribute the dumplings on the plates, pour hot butter over them and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Usually the liquid butter is on a warmer and cinnamon and sugar in an extra bowl, so everyone can take more or less of it as they wish.
