Orange Slice Salad

I offer you a recipe for a festive salad. I cooked it with pleasure, honestly. So I share. I want to express my gratitude to the carrot for being so bright and tasty. The salad seems to be a success. Decorating it takes very little time, and is not at all difficult. The food combination is excellent, guests should appreciate it. Be sure to decorate your New Year’s table 2021 with this salad!

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 300-350 g
  • Hard cheese – 150 g
  • Pickled mushrooms – 150-200 g
  • Eggs – 4-5 pcs.
  • Carrots – 2 pcs.
  • Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
  • Garlic (optional) – 2-3 cloves
  • Vegetable oil

For dressing (250 g):

  • Mayonnaise
  • Sour cream

Directions

  1. Wash carrots, boil until tender. Boil the meat until tender in salted water. Cut into strips or take apart into fibers.
  2. Hard boil the eggs, separate the whites from the yolks. Grate separately on a fine grater. Fry the onions in vegetable oil until golden brown. Mix the third part of carrots with onions. Finely chop the mushrooms, grate the cheese on a coarse or fine grater.
  3. For a salad, it is best to take a flat dish, preferably a plain one without a pattern. We spread the products on it in layers, forming at once a half of an orange slice. We cover each layer with a net of mayonnaise. It is very convenient to use the bag – we put a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream in it, make a hole in the bag with a toothpick. And water from a bag. Important: if you take a bag with holes, nothing will work, you just get worn out. But it’s still more convenient than spreading it with a spoon.
  4. 1 layer – fried onions and carrots.
  5. 2nd layer – boiled meat.
  6. 3rd layer – hard cheese and yolks.
  7. 4th layer – pickled mushrooms.
  8. 5th layer – proteins.
  9. 6 layer – carefully mark with mayonnaise where the slices will be, and lay out the grated carrots.
