  • 200 g mararine, soft
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 point vanilla sugar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 orange (s), grated zest / squeezed juice
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 125 g powdered suar

Instructions

  1. Mix the margarine with the sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Stir in the eggs one at a time for 1 minute each. Stir in the grated orange peel. Mix flour and baking powder and sift. Then stir in the flour twice.
  2. Put the dough in a loaf pan that has been greased and dusted with flour and bake in the preheated oven (175 ° C top / bottom heat) on the middle rack for approx. 50 minutes (stick test).
  3. Let the cake cool down for 10 minutes and remove it from the mold.
  4. Then perforate the ridge where the cake breaks during baking with a kebab skewer and drizzle the orange juice - except for 1 tablespoon (for the topping) - onto the holes until the juice is used up.
  5. Make a glaze from the retained tablespoon of juice and powdered sugar, add a little more water if necessary and brush the lukewarm cake with it.
