Potatoes with Exotic Notes

We bring a new “sound” to a seemingly familiar dish – baked potatoes with meat. Introducing a potato with exotic flavors from the kiwi and orange marinade used for meat.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 8-10 pcs.
  • Pork – 600 g
  • Orange (medium) – 1 pc.
  • Kiwi – 2 pcs.
  • Onions (medium) – 1 pc.
  • Carrots – 2 pcs.
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
  • Tomato – 1 pc.
  • Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
  • Hard cheese – 200 g
  • Butter – 20 g
  • Vegetable oil – for frying
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the meat into cubes and marinate. In this case, you need to salt and pepper it, add the juice of one orange, chopped pieces of two kiwi,s and 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. We mix everything. Cover the bowl with meat with a lid or cling film. We put it in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Fry half the chopped potatoes in a pan in vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes over high heat. In this case, the potatoes need to be salted and pepper. Place the remaining half of the potatoes in a baking dish.
  3. We take out the meat from the refrigerator and, having squeezed it well from the marinade, fry in a pan using vegetable oil and a piece of butter until golden brown.
  4. During frying, the meat can be slightly salted and pepper. But do not forget that you have already salted the marinade. While the meat is fried, spread the grated raw carrots (1 pcs.) On the potatoes. Put the fried meat on top of the carrot.
  5. Fry a little one onion, cut into half rings. We spread the onion on the meat. Fry the second shabby carrots in vegetable oil. In this case, it needs to be slightly salt and pepper. While the carrots are fried, prepare the chatterbox. Put one tablespoon of mayonnaise in one glass of water and mix well.
  6. Layout the toasted carrots and smooth them out. Fill with our talker to get a layer of one centimeter of liquid. Randomly lay out the sweet pepper cut into strips. Put one thinly chopped tomato on top.
  7. We drip a few drops of mayonnaise (you can not put mayonnaise, this is optional). For the last time, add a little salt and pepper.
  8. We fall asleep with everything with grated cheese. I rubbed 200 grams of hard cheese on a fine grater, you can rub even more. Put a few pieces of butter on top of the cheese.
  9. Cover the form with foil. You can use a baking dish with a lid so you don’t need foil. We put our potatoes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
  10. After 30 minutes, you will understand by the aroma that the potatoes with exotic notes are ready! And you can surprise your loved ones and friends with juicy potatoes and meat that just melts in your mouth.
