Ingredients

  • 500 g pumpkin meat (the most suitable is Hokkaido)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ honey
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup sweet cream

Instructions

  1. Cut the pumpkin flesh into small pieces, fry a little in hot butter and add the vegetable stock. Let simmer for 5 minutes. Season with mustard, honey, salt and pepper, add the cream and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. You can serve this as a sauce with pasta or add water or vegetable broth, add rice, season to taste and enjoy as a soup.
