Ingredients

  • 500 g pumpkin (se), Hokkaido or butternut, cleaned
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 small chilli pepper (s)
  • some oil
  • 300 g sour cream
  • 200 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled nutmeg, ground
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped paprika powder, sweet or spicy as desired
  • 150 g feta cheese
  • 50 g cheese, rated (e.. Emmentaler, Gouda)

Instructions

  1. Cut the pumpkin flesh into cubes, coarsely chop the onion. Wash, clean and dice the peppers or cut into strips. Peel the garlic and chop it very finely, also chop the chili pepper very finely.
  2. Fry everything in the hot oil and simmer for about 5 minutes over medium heat.
  3. In the meantime, dice the feta and mix with the sour cream, cream and spices in a bowl.
  4. Let the vegetables cool down a little and add to the cream cheese mixture in the bowl, mix well.
  5. Put the mixture in a baking dish, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in a preheated oven (about 170 ° C fan oven) for about 20-25 minutes.
  6. You can also replace half of the pumpkin with potatoes. Those who like it less spicy can simply leave out the chilli pepper.
  7. The specified amount is sufficient as a main course (e.g. with salad and baguette) for 2 people, as a side dish with meat or fish for 4 people.
