Rancho Blanco Sauce

It is a versatile dressing for meat, fish, potatoes and a wide variety of salads. Here’s a simple recipe for Rancho Blanco sauce.

Ingredients

  • Cream – 200 Milliliters
  • Butter – 100 Grams
  • Garlic – 1-3 Cloves
  • Worcester Sauce – 1 Teaspoon
  • Apple Cider Vinegar – 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 Pinch
  • Cayenne Pepper – 1 Pinch
  • Fresh herbs – 1 to taste

Directions

  1. Combine softened butter with cream (you can use natural yogurt). Add Worcestershire sauce, salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  2. Whisk everything well until smooth. In the next step, add apple cider vinegar. Peel and chop the garlic, chop it, or press it through a press. Add to sauce and continue stirring.
  3. Chop the washed fresh herbs. This can be parsley, dill, green onions, basil, and even a couple of mint leaves, for example. Add to sauce.
  4. Mix everything well – and try it. If necessary, the Rancho Blanco sauce at home can be supplemented with lemon juice, black pepper or other ingredients to taste.
  5. Transfer the prepared sauce to a clean, dry jar with a tight-fitting lid and refrigerate. Let it chill for about 1 hour before serving. You can also store it in the refrigerator, using as needed.
