  • 1.2 kg red cabbage, raw, grated
  • 3 apples, sour (Boskoop or Holsteiner Cox)
  • 1 ½ onion (s)
  • 4 clove (s)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 0.25 liter ¼ water

Instructions

  1. Put the water in a pressure cooker. Add the grated red cabbage, the apples cut into pieces, eight-eighth onions, cloves, oil, sugar and salt.
  2. Put the lid on the pot and put the pot on the switched on stove. When the pressure cooker valve is up, cook the red cabbage for another 8 to 10 minutes. Then cool the pressure cooker under running cold water and open the lid.
