Ingredients

  • 500 g rhubarb
  • 1 glass sour cherries
  • 1 pack red grits powder without sago with raspberry flavor
  • 100 g suar, possibly less

Instructions

  1. Wash the rhubarb, peel it, cut it into pieces, put it in a saucepan with a little water and let it boil until it disintegrates.
  2. Remove about 6 tablespoons of the fruit juice from the cherries and place in a mug. Add the sour cherries with the remaining fruit juice to the rhubarb saucepan and heat.
  3. Mix the red grits powder and the sugar with the removed cherry juice until smooth. Take the pot off the stove and stir the mixed powder into the hot pot. Put the mixture on the stove again and let it boil briefly. Stir vigorously.
  4. Rinse a glass bowl with cold water. Put the rhubarb groats in the glass bowl and let cool.
  5. Best cold with e.g., Serve vanilla sauce.
