Rioch Style Potatoes

A variation of the potato dish from the Spanish province of Rioja (Patatas a la riojana). The potatoes are prepared with smoked sausages, bell peppers, and spices.
Ingredients
- Potatoes – 6 pcs.
- Pork chorizo sausage
- Sweet red pepper – 1 pc.
- Sweet green pepper – 1 pc.
- Bulb onions – 1 pc.
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Ground red pepper
- Salt
- Vegetable oil
Directions
- Peel the red bell peppers and cut them into large squares. Chop green bell peppers in the same way.
- Cut the onion into half rings.
- Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Put the onion in a saucepan and fry it.
- Add chopped peppers, stir and fry.
- Finely chop the garlic. Add to vegetables. Mix.
- Cut the chorizo sausages into slices. Pour into a saucepan.
- Cut the potatoes into wedges in the same saucepan. Mix.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour with water so that it completely covers the vegetables. Cook for 20 minutes, covered.
