- 700 g potato (s), mainly waxy ones
- 2 cloves garlic
- 200 ml vegetable stock
- 2 egg (s)
- salt
- Pepper, ground colorful
- 80 g parmesan, or Emmentaler, rated
- 50 g butter

- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Grease an ovenproof dish.
- Wash and peel the potatoes, cut into thin slices and layer in the greased dish.
- Peel the garlic and press through the garlic press. Mix the vegetable stock with the eggs and garlic and season with salt and pepper. Pour the stock over the potato slices and distribute them. Sprinkle with the cheese. Put flakes of butter on top.
- Bake in the oven on the middle rack at 170 degrees for 60 minutes.
- The Savoyard style potatoes are tasty as a side dish to briefly roasted meat, for example. B. with medallions, schnitzels, rump steaks or as a vegetarian main course with patties.
