  • 1 large potato (s)
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 pinch (s) pepper
  • 1 packet cheese (Limburger)
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and grate them with the float into a coarser grater and place in a bowl. Finely chop the onion and add. Salt and pepper as desired. Mix everything together and fry 3 small flat hash browns in oil in a pan until they are golden yellow.
  2. Cut the Limburger into fine slices and place on the hash browns in the pan. When the Limburger has melted, serve the hash browns on a plate or wooden board. Put a teaspoon of crème fraîche on each rösti.
