Mix the quark, egg, vanilla sugar, sugar, sifted flour, baking powder and milk into a smooth batter. Let the dough stand for a few minutes.
Then pull the sage leaves through the dough so that the leaves are well moistened. Bake the pastry sheets until golden brown in hot oil and drain on paper towels.
If you want, you can add raisins or small pear pieces to the dough, they taste more fruity.
The dough is usually enough for me for about 30 pieces.
The leaf ends of the sage look like little mouse tails, that`s why we call them little mice.
