Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 250 g quark (curd cheese)
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • Fat, for frying (coconut fat)
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Sugar, ad libitum

Instructions

  1. Mix eggs, curd cheese, flour mixed with baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and leave to rest for about 15 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, froth the butter in a larger pan and add the breadcrumbs
  3. and toast briefly, then add cinnamon and sugar and keep warm.
  4. Heat the coconut fat in a slightly higher (smaller) pan, cut out dumplings from the dough with a teaspoon and fry in the fat, remove, add to the cinnamon crumbs and mix well.
  5. They taste best when eaten warm with vanilla pudding or fruit sauce.
