Ingredients

  • 1 packet half and half dumplings
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 2 onions)
  • 1 pack raw ham, diced
  • 2 packs whipped cream
  • salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable stock, instant
  • 150 ml water, hot

Instructions

  1. Mix the dumpling powder with the egg, a little nutmeg, salt and pepper according to the instructions on the packet and let it soak for 10 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, dice the onions and fry them with the diced ham.
  3. Cut off the dumplings with a tablespoon and place in a baking dish. Spread the bacon and onions on top.
  4. Dissolve the vegetable stock in hot water and mix with the H-cream. Season to taste with pepper, nutmeg and salt (remember that the bacon is also salty), pour over the dumplings. They should be covered a bit.
  5. Put in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes at 170 ° C top / bottom heat or 150 ° C hot air.
